Safe-Conduct was originally recorded as part of 'Proof and Content', Morning Zephyr's summer 2004 offering. It was re-recorded with spooky Halloween-y overdubs, not because the original lacked in any way, but for the sheer joy of doing so. Kip admits being influenced by Branford Marsalis, who re-recorded different versions of a few tunes in the early 00's.
